We held a garage sale yesterday with the help of our friend Mary Mack and raised $850 for orphan care. It seems that fund raising will soon become a part of our Orphan Advocacy as we return to
Ukraine soon to learn where pain and opportunity will once again cross.

Roger's follow up visit with the cardiologist indicated that the procedure
was successful. Roger has renewed energy and we are all pleased, for Roger
had begun to accept his lack of energy and fatigue as a sign of aging. We
are ready to return to Kiev again with revitalized enthusiasm.
We will depart for Kiev on Christmas eve after celebrating the holiday early with our
understanding family. It will truly be a memorable Christmas....we will leave Orlando
at 10:30 PM on Christmas eve and arrive in Kiev at 11:00 PM Christmas day. It is
special to us that we will spend part of Christmas day on stopovers in Frankfurt and
Vienna, but more importantly that we will spend much of the day in the heavens and
will be some of the first to feel the presence of the Holy Spirit descending in remembrance of the
birth of our Lord and Savior !
We wish the most joyous and blessed Christmas to all of our family, friends and all of
those who have offered support in our role in God's plan to help the forgotten children
of Ukraine.
CHRISTMAS IS A TIME OF PEACE,
A GIFT OF HOPE,
A TESTAMENT TO HIS LOVE

We have spoken to Peter who has been taken to a hospital in Novgorod Severskiy.
The doctors are concerned that he may have a bleeding stomach ulcer. He is
scheduled for GI testing on Christmas Eve day. He is alert and cheerful and sends
his holiday wishes to all. Please keep him in your prayers during this anxious
time. Peter's welfare will be our main priority upon arrival in Ukraine. Watch this
site for updates on his condition.

Roger's heart procedure was a success. On Dec 11th, the cardiologist
inserted two stents as planned. He was monitored overnight in the
hospital and is now relaxing comfortably at home. A great deal of
prayer power was focused on this event. Roger is doing well and we
are indeed thankful for the prayers and kind wishes, but please divert
your prayers once again to those in greater need.

Roger had his heart catherization test today. The cardiologist found blockage in two arteries. On Tuesday, Dec. 11th, the Dr. will insert two stents in the blocked arteries. The stents will be the new drug coated stents that have an extremely high reliability of success. Roger expects
to be back to normal within 2-3 days after the procedure. The Dr. has okayed him to travel after that time. We plan to re-schedule our trip to Ukraine around Dec. 24th or 25th. We are eager to return by that time, since we are expecting the children to leave the orphanage to come to the foster home between Dec. 25th and Jan. 1.
